The reason I like to design pop up cards

For me, the pop up card design for an architectural work is like drawing a minimalist picture.
That's what I have to do when I try to describe an architecture several hundred square meters wide
on the area of 600 centimeters square. And what makes it more difficult is that everything has to be
folded in flat form when the card closes. But that is also the element of attraction for pop up cards,
that is, you can't know what's interesting inside the card. Like a gift, you can't know what's inside
the gift box until peeling off the wrapping paper and looking inside the box.

The first thing I did when I received the request to design pop ups for buildings was to sit in front of
the computer screen for hours watching them, trying to figure out what makes them stand out
and be different with other buildings. Maybe just a few details on the window, but it can also be
a special shape of the whole building. The next step, it is more difficult to make things simple
but still show the characteristics of that work. Let anyone who has ever witnessed their beauty
- these architectural wonders - recognize them - Still retain their beauty and fit in the two halves
of the card.

This work is really meaningful to me, my understanding of famous architecture works all over the world
has been through the process of working with design requirements from a lot of nation.
What makes me even happier is that I have the opportunity to describe the architectural wonders
created by miraculous people in my view. It was like I was talking to them.
